...the expression of gratitude by that bull rider was genuine and profound... twenty pounds of ice is certainly not all of the ice in the world, but in that moment, it was a complete expression of total gratitude...
...and sitting on that trainers' table, the thought occurred to me..."i save bullriders from time to time in the arena, but Jesus has saved me forever...how often and how well do i express my gratitude to Him?..."
later, as i reflected upon the events of that evening, i remembered the moment in the ministry of Jesus when He healed ten men who had leprosy...after He healed them, only one returned to give thanks...and Jesus asked the one who returned, "where are the other nine...were they not cleansed also?"...
...as i considered those nine men - cleansed, restored, and yet, seemingly ungrateful, the thought seared my soul...
